Words of Wisdom from 4 Leaders
By Mark Norman
It would be easy to use my words to again help promote the World Wine Tour 2010, but I believe that the weight of these important individuals will have a greater impact. There is still a ways to go to reach their fundraising goal to complete the full tour, so please go to:
http://www.worldwinetour2010.com to donate to this worthy cause. To date more than $15,000 has been raised, but just over $20,000 is still needed. Please read below about the creation of levels of sponsorship.
Mrs. Margrit Mondavi – wife of the late Robert Mondavi
“I admire Georges’ and Anja’s endeavor to travel the world, for wine which will later be auctioned, benefitting the Lao Rehabilitation Foundation, Inc.
It is such a worthwhile and needed benefit for children and adults needing health care.
I wish Georges and Anja much success and hope to be at the final auction of the prestigious wines.”
Bernard Portet - Vice-Chairman of Clos Du Val
“This adventure in which Georges and Anja are about to embark is quite an exciting project. It is a real opportunity to discover the world of wines and its multiple facets on different continents, the different cultures of the many countries to be visited. Most of all, it is a magnificent opportunity to discover People, to understand what moves them, and to stir the generosity in the depth of their soul for the ultimate benefit of least favored Lao people through the Lao Rehabilitation Foundation, Inc.. I do wish them much success in such a beautiful endeavor”
Genevieve Janssens - Director of Winemaking, Robert Mondavi Winery
“I am amazed to watch Anja and Georges handling this ambitious project. Together, they are combining a lot of important skills: Compassion is the driving force, love for wines is the vector. Their desire to visit the world and to understand different civilizations and philosophies has always been their dream. The preparation is as important as the trip itself. They remind me of the mountaineers preparing for a journey to reach the summit of the highest peak. They will have so much to share with the world throughout the project and after it has been accomplished. I encourage everyone to follow them through their journey.”
William J. McClure, M.D., Plastic Surgeon
"I have served with the Lao Rehabilitation Foundation over the last
few years and have participated in several of their medical missions.
The generosity and the dedication of its founder, Luc Janssens, is moving. He manages the Foundation's many projects with compassion and efficiency.
Luc has changed many lives and helped so many people. I support
Georges' and Anja's charity project, World Wine Tour 2010. It is very
refreshing to see young people helping those in need. I congratulate them
and wish them great success in their endeavor.”
An important improvement has been made for the sponsorship part of the project. There has been the creation of 4 levels of sponsors; Platinum, Diamond, Gold, & Silver. For questions on what the amount for each level is and what a sponsor of each level is entitled to please contact Anja or Georges.
